About Us
.
BACKGROUND
.
We were established as NYC Brewing Company, LLC in 2015 and updated our moniker to NYC IPA, LLC in 2016 to reflect our unabashed IPA-focus which remains a staple of our beverage portfolio – today.
.
We have 4 “core” IPA offerings brewed within the NYC Watershed region and 4 distinctly different IPA offerings, including a bold-profile NA IPA (that is short-hand for Non-Alcohol IPA) brewed in each region of the USA (our “National” portfolio) utilizing a water-treatment process that approximates the pH (8.2) and mineral composition of the NYC Watershed so that they, too, benefit from the renowned, taste-profile of NYC drinking water.
Our refined recipes along, brewing know-how and emphasis on utilizing only premium, all-natural, organic ingredients provide our Private-Label clients reliable quality and consistency.
We established our “National” service-category for clients looking the unique flavor profiles of our IPA “core” selections with an option to not utilize NYC branding - replacing such with the branding of their hotel, venue or dining establishment. Brewing in other regions of the country also reduces transportation time and costs as well as improves freshness/shelf-life for all our craft beer selections, these aspects are additional benefits for our Private-Label clients.
Our introduction of RTD selections, Better-For-You Mocktails, Kombucha, Coffee and Mineral Water available for Private-Label in 2022, reflected clients’ evolving efforts to provide their customers premium-quality beer alternatives. Being able to rely on a single supplier simplified clients’ procurement efforts while also ensuring comparable quality and consistency to our IPA offerings. All of our custom formulations, ranging from IPAs varieties to RTD offerings and Non-Alcohol (Alcohol-Free) Mocktail selections, utilize premium, all-natural, organic ingredients.
Fast-forward to today, our beverage production has repertoire has evolved beyond our IPA roots into being a one-stop craft/custom Private-Label beverage service provider for hotel, dining establishment and event venue clients seeking quality refreshment.
.
Additionally, with an eye on future growth categories, the NYC IPA™ brand has extended reach - beyond merely beverages inspired to capture the energy of the city – and now encompasses food collaborations (IPA-infused Signature Steak Sauces and Mustards) and unique hospitality-centric concepts spanning themed-venues to special events and curated tours.
.
We became a wholly owned subsidiary of Craft Beer Fund, LLC, in 2018, which provided us access to a variety of top-tier brewers and other service providers in the beverage segment and beyond.

Retrospective
.
We entered the craft brewing sector, in 2013, as gypsy brewers with a hop-forward, essential nutrient-infused IPA formulation, developed in collaboration with our brewing partner in Connecticut, then continued to develop a stable of other IPA iterations as we liked, and still like, how the brewing-style lends itself to experimentation with numerous existing as well as emerging hop varieties and always has a flavor-packed/hearty/complex flavor profile no matter the type of IPA that is brewed.
Since we first introduced our original/flagship NYC IPA™ in 2017, we have been fortunate that all of our partner brewers, with our resounding endorsement, have consistently taken recipe development to the next level utilizing only real, all-natural ingredients - versus utilizing any artificial-flavor enhancers or other shortcuts of any kind.
.
Subsequent to our 2017 release, we brought in experienced executives from the brewing sector to provide operational guidance and decided to shift from a retail-focus to Private-Label offerings by 2018 (including the initial exploration of some NA/Alcohol-Free options for clients). As part of this shift, we also modeled-out how to make the IPA recipes we had honed over the years available to clients national-basis - by brewing regionally yet still approximating the pH (8.2) and mineral composition of renowned NYC drinking water- and delivering consistent quality with the freshness that our clients expect.
Throughout our first decade, we have navigated through management, personnel and ownership changes in addition to brewing sector ebbs and flows, gaining experience and appreciation of all those who have helped along with way, managed through the first pandemic in 100+ years at the outset of and into the early 2020s along with trouble-shooting other sector headwinds and challenges over the years - from aluminum can price increases to CO2 shortages to equipment delays/expenses (related to supply chains, shipping and fuel complications), etc.
While the learning curve has been quite an education, the constant that remains energy of NYC - the city that never sleeps. It seems, no matter the time of year, the city always has a little something for everyone, anytime of the day or night and our Private-Label beverage portfolio has evolved over the years to reflect that sentiment after kick-starting the endeavor with our decidedly IPA-focus. To that end, we try to regularly include one or two Seasonals among our available selections for our Private-Label clients including some stand-out offerings from IPA Sours, Pilsners, Wits and Light Lagers in the Summer and whiskey barrel-aged Porters in the Winter with Farmhouse, Irish Reds and other novel styles in between.
To that end, we have also embarked on trying to embody some of the spirit of this city that never sleeps in the pursuit of some new frontiers for our brand - beyond providing Private-Label beverages. Such new frontiers include Travel/Events/Tours and Hospitality/Real Estate Concepts, and, in turn, upon doing so, we have added some additional advisors with hospitality and real estate backgrounds along the way.
Our experiential themed-concepts, derivative of our NYC IPA™ brewing brand portfolio, include NYC IPA™ Pub & Club, and even NYC IPA™ Hotel/Residences that features an in-house brewery as means to add vibrancy/revitalization to legacy hotel properties, standalone dining establishments and new construction/development pockets within neighborhoods in NYC as well as the potential to bring similar concepts to other locations around the world.
.
Fast-forward, a dozen years after our team's first gypsy-brewed IPA debuted in 2013, we continue to fine-tune our IPA recipes utilizing all-natural, organic ingredients and incorporate the same philosophy of quality across our entire Private-Label beverage portfolio. Most importantly, we certainly have and continue to value the insight and perspective of all of those that have been part of our journey during the first decade of endeavoring to deliver premium refreshment - along with many memorable times, to all.
